I had a great experience. I was looking for an officiant that would do well with a casual wedding. She would be great for any type of wedding.Oct 6, 2016Verified
For our wedding, we asked for something short, sweet and to the point. Reverend Dutcher delivered exactly what we asked for, and even included a little surprise to make the day that much more special. We highly recommend to anyone looking for an officiantAug 13, 2015VerifiedNew Beginnings and Happy Endings's reply
Thank you for the nice comments. I so enjoyed your wedding day and wish you all good things for all of your days.
Patty went above and beyond our expectations, providing the perfect short but sweet ceremony to our specifications. Our wedding was in October at the World Forestry Center in Portland with an autumn/Halloween theme, and Patty surprised us by dressing as our fairy godmother and showering us with sparkles as we accepted our vows. It was fabulous! We couldn't imagine a better fairy godmother/officiant!Sep 26, 2014New Beginnings and Happy Endings's reply
It was an incredible joy to officiate at the wedding of two darling people who have been pals since Kindergarten days. Just loved the entire day and granting wishes to little children who were wedding guests. Type your response to this review.
Have not actually met her yet, my wedding is in August. Thank youJul 2, 2017Verified
Patty did such an amazing job! Super professional. Great person to work with. She was really patience when the wedding party was running late. 😊Jul 31, 2017VerifiedNew Beginnings and Happy Endings's reply
I so enjoyed meeting your families and friends ... and it was really a fun day. My best wishes for the two of you to share all the good things that marriage has to offer. We did have a great time ... all of us.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Depending upon the ceremony and wishes of the bridal couple: For signing of legal documents: $125 My fee for a wedding in Prineville, $175. If a rehearsal is necessary, that's an additional $25. My fee for a wedding over 25 miles from Prineville. An additional charge of $25 for mileage. The fees include writing the ceremony, officiating at the wedding, and filing the legal papers with the county clerk. Nothing is cast in stone, however, so we can negotiate if you wish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My first contact with a bride and/or groom is through my Thumbtack bid. When the couple wants to talk with me, we exchange ideas and information via email and by phone. My next step is to write a ceremony that includes their ideas and suggestions, which we refine until it is just right. Sometimes we meet at a Starbuck's or convenient location (if they are local), otherwise we meet just before the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My education includes communications and counseling. I have worked in counseling centers and health centers on college campuses and in hospital settings. I am also a volunteer in the community where I live.
