FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour, plus an extra hours pay for setup and tear down of my equipment. Rates depend on a lot of factors, including venue type, location, and expected turnout. The rates given in my prices are an average job for me, your rates may be cheaper or more expensive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll usually have them listen to some of my sample mixes on my website, talk with them about the venue and the crowd, particularly your expected turnout, how we'll be promoting the event, and what kind of atmosphere they're looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In DJing, there's no better education than experience. I've been mixing for over 7 years now, I know the ebb and flow of a dancefloor, how insanely important good transitions are, and the best ways to prepare tracks for mixing on the fly.
