I have been receiving lessons from Mr. Knudsen for about 3 years now and have steadily improved. What impresses me is that besides being knowledgeable, experienced, and eclectic in teaching many different genres and styles; he creates a calm and focussed atmosphere for learning and instruction. Mr Knudsen’s flexible, calm, and kind demeanor puts you at ease while he clues you in to the ins and outs of your instrument and correct technique. Amazing teacher with tons of unique experience that you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere!!

Dan does a fantastic job working with our daughter. He is kind and patient as she learns, yet knowledgeable and able to challenge her to improve her mandolin skills. His experience and talent is evident throughout the lessons and it inspires our daughter to want to practice on her own. He also gives her freedom to select music that she is interested in which helps her develop confidence. We so appreciate all the work he has put in, along with his positive attitude. Highly recommended!

Dan Knudsen is a crackerjack musician and teacher of all things with strings. He's very knowledgeable about music theory and is patient as a teacher. He knows his stuff. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a music instructor.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My lessons are an hour in length. I find that my students want to be able to play along their teacher as they learn and grow in their skills and a brief 30 minutes doesn't allow for this to happen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Listening and finding out from the beginning what a student's goals are in learning to play.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I helped in music therapy at the place I worked at for a number of years.
