Lisa was unable to keep our appointment but the very able Amy was very good with my dog Riley and is helping to train me.Jul 2, 2015VerifiedSuite Dog Daze LLC's reply
Hi Stephen, Aimee is a wonderful trainer! I am glad you found her visit helpful. Please let us know if you need anything further for Dear Riley. We are here to help.
We are very satisfied with service Lisa provided for us. She did a 90 minute, in-home session with us to evaluate our situation with our three dogs. One had became very aggressive, attacking another. Lisa pointed out things to us we hadn't noticed, gave us hands-on training advice, reassured us our dogs are normal, and made us realize we are the ones that need training!!! She was on time, confident, and empathetic to our needs. We have scheduled a follow-up appointment and will be taking our dogs to her obedience training in the future. Thank you Lisa!!!Jan 25, 2015Verified
I wish there were more star's to award. Our dog was in residence, he had multiple issues. No one could relax around this guy, he was jokingly called our ADHD boy. We are beyond happy with the family friendly, obedient, happy dog we picked up today. What a joy it is to have a dog that is not jumping on everyone, comes when we call him, waits for his food, sits, stays and is an overall pleasure to spend time with. We loved him before but now we love him and enjoy being around him. Thank you, thank you, thank you Lisa and Martha.Jan 28, 2015Verified
We sent our puppy, Jax, to Suite Dog Daze because of all of the outstanding reviews! He needed to learn how to be comfortable in his crate by himself, in hopes of reducing his barking. After 1 week at "camp" with Lisa, Jax no longer barks through the night, and we are able to run errands without worrying about him disturbing the neighbors! I would HIGHLY recommend Suite Dog Daze, and Lisa, to anyone who has any trouble with their little (or big) furry companions! Suite Dog Daze sends photos and updates daily, as well as provides access to a 'nanny-cam' in the playroom, where we watched Jax play with his newly made best friends. If we go out of town, or run into a problem with Jax, we will DEFINITELY be bringing him back to Lisa!Oct 5, 2014Verified
Lisa knows her stuff and goes above and beyond for her customers. She consistently demonstrates flexibility and creative problem solving. We have done private in-home and group training sessions with her and have found both to be very worthwhile. Lisa has done an incredible job including my children in the puppy training process which has been beneficial for both the kids and our beloved pet. Her facility and location are great. I couldn't be more pleased with Suite Dog Daze and Lisa Gipe.Dec 5, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am competitively priced. I offer a variety of options to meet the needs of my clients with varying budgets, and training needs. For example, a client can schedule a 30 minute private session at my facility for $35. We can get a lot done in 30 minutes. I can also come to your home for 90 minutes and create a complete training program for you and your pup, for $160.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I create programs made specifically for each client. Depending on the dog's need, and the clients request, I will typically start with a 90 minute, intake visit in the clients home. Or, I will schedule a training evaluation at my facility for 30 minutes, as more of a meet and greet. I then design a program to fit the unique needs of my client and their pet. Some dogs come for day training, with dog daycare for socializing and training. Other dog's are enrolled in board and train program. Yet others, may benefit from home training sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a masters degree in education and learning theory. I have decades of experience teaching humans, and decades of experience training animals. I grew up on a farm and have trained, horses, cows, cats, and humans. :D I am certified in dog behavior and training from CATCH Academy. I am certified through FETCHFIND in dog training, and pet care. I have numerous certifications via webinars, and workshops in a variety of dog training and behavior topics. I am a member of IBPSA and IGA, which keep me up to date in science based best practices, in the pet care industry.
