FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I don't believe it was a decision, its what I was born to do. I have loved to build since I was a young child, its in my blood, my whole chemistry. I was fortunate enough to have uncles who were very successful builders to take me under their wings. I began working for them at a very young age, they worked me hard to ensure I learned to have a great work ethic, learn the process of each project from start to finish. If I didn't do something right the first time I would have to start from the beginning and do it again and again until it was flawless. I am lucky to be doing what I love and was born to do.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to do your due diligence, check the CCB licence information online. You can go to www.oregon.gov/ccb to do a ccb search, check the status of a licence. The CCB ensures each company has up to date licence, bonding and insurance. If any of these lapse they will suspend a licence. Also, here is where you will see if there are any complaints against this business and/or contractor.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
These days the trust factor in this field is challenging. Due to horror stories with unethical and dishonest individuals out there. My customers learn after being around me for even a short amount of time that I am very honest and an upstanding individual, those I hire in my company are carefully selected to ensure they are a good fit, with outstanding customer service and quality skills. This is something I wish they knew from the very beginning.
