Give Me a Break Animal Care
About this pro
Jane is great. She spent more time with my cats than she needed to and that was good because they love attention. She left me notes on how everyone was doing. I will be having her care for my cats again!Jun 13, 2018Verified
Jane was fantastic! Our regular cat sitter wasn't able to help us out, and Jane was able to come over on VERY late notice to meet our cat, and took excellent care of her! We received pictures of each visit, so I didn't worry about our cat while we we on vacation. We will hire her again! Thanks for the excellent care, Jane.Jan 10, 2018Verified
This wonderful person took great care of our cats. I am grateful to have made a contact who we can trust. Jane brought in the mail and made contact with us regularly about how the cats were doing. She was very invested in the cats' well being and peace of mind. I highly recommend Give Me a Break pet sitting. Just terrific!Jan 4, 2018Verified
Jane did a great job handling my timid dog with all of his quirks. She is great at reading a dogs body language. I'll hire her again.Aug 20, 2017Verified
Jane was excellent with my dog. My dog (Midnight) seemed extremely happy and well taken care of when I got home after a 6 day trip out of state. Jane went above and beyond by meeting me at the apartment after my flight and had already fed and walked Midnight for dinner so Midnight didn't have to wait 45 minutes longer for her evening meal. Jane was very professional and seemed to enjoy watching dogs.Dec 22, 2014Verified
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am certified in first aid and CPR for both dogs and cats.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? Not every dog is suited for a dog kennel and I believe that when their family leaves it can be a stressful situation for them. By hiring someone like me to come to your home, the animal is able to stay in familiar surroundings and that takes stress and worry off you the owner. You know that your animal is receiving the best care possible and that they'll be there waiting for you when you return.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Making at least 2-3 visits per day (morning, mid-day, and night) that include feeding, and a 20-30 minute walk (mid-day visit walks are generally 30 minutes). Dogs shouldn't go longer than 12 hours without a bathroom break so if I the owner is gone overnight 2 visits are essential.
