FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to keep things as simple as possible. I usually stick with a baseline price for my time and expertise, and you can use that time as you like! Extras, such as lighting equipment or travel, can be worked out on an individual basis without concern of significant pricing changes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I can bring a studio setup to any shoot where it's needed, but I do most of my photography outdoors... Weddings and Portraits (families, senior photos, cars, or even pet portraits) Sports (skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, races, football, soccer, basketball) Wildlife and Landscapes (birds, bugs, mammals, fungi, mountains)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Photography is a blend of technical skills, having an artistic eye, and being able to communicate. While many different combinations of these can result in a successful photographer, not every one of them will be the right balance for you and your project! Take your time and look at your options, and remember that a higher priced photographer does not necessarily mean higher quality. Find someone that you feel you could talk to comfortably, because if you can't convey what you're looking for, even the best equipment and skill will still have trouble capturing that perfect photograph.
