FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was right after 9/11 happened and i was working in property management and it was NOT the biz to be in at that time, interest rates were dropping and people were buying. Which sucked for my profession at the time. I've always loved hair and make up and since i was 13 i've been coloring my hair, and i've always been a product junkie. So after 9/11, i think most people thought a lot about life and what our world was coming to, and my thoughts were, i want to LOVE what i do. So that began my journey to beauty school & working at Nordstrom. The rest is history. I've done hundreds of weddings, and events, and updo's are one of my fav things to do. So there you have it, i don't ever feel like i'm "working". I get paid to do something i love.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings is my number one thing i do, and it's probably one of my favorite things to do because i get to do the whole look from start to finish. I love sharing that day with the bride and feel honored that she chose ME of all people to be there. It's truly a privilage.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If your booking for your wedding, i advise you to book sooner rather than later, because once wedding season arrives, availability is slim.
