My first session with Functional Body was extremely eye opening and super beneficial to be health & fitness. I have been Very active all my life playing college soccer and a short period of time playing professional soccer. After my playing career I moved into lifting a lot of weights kind of going for the bodybuilding type of features that I was looking for. I thought becoming stronger and well balanced in my left side of Olympic lifting would benefit me longer-term and help me become a healthier person. I have done other types of fitness including yoga Pilates. Bar orange theory high intensity interval training and when I saw functional body I wanted to try it out. I knew core activation was a huge component of being fit but with working it with the instructor Brandon for the first time he really Opened my eyes about activating my transverse muscle which is a huge component in controlling your body movements and basic human Movement. I highly recommend anybody looking to become a better performing athlete, human being, healthier, long Jevity on joints I strongly encourage to take a session with functional body before doing any type of other fitness.
I met Jae at a 24 hr Fitness Club where I was inquiring about personal training to re-frame health and weight loss goals. Jae spoke to me with focused empathy, patience and a level of respect deeper than I have ever found in the yoga or fitness industry. He took little time in acquiring a great deal of detail about what could make me happy- details he uses to create a fitness plan with the utmost care and wisdom. Jae is intelligent and well-versed in how to look amazing physically but he chooses spiritually-based creativity to make you whole again. I have trained with experts all over the United States but Jae is the only professional with whom I trust completely as both Mentor and Trainer.
Mary-Anne is awesome and the yoga instruction I received was top-notch. My 4 and 6 year old children joined in and had a blast. I'm really looking forward to my next session. I haven't felt this invigorated in some time.
I just started seeing Lisa and she's fantastic. So warm and kind. I've been suffering from a chronic illness which has left me unable to exercise for nearly a decade now. But she's starting at square one with me, stretching and light yoga, increasing flexibility, with a walking regimen and menu plan I can actually accomplish. Cannot recommend highly enough, I'm actually feeling my body again!
Freedom's yoga classes at Studio Modern Yoga are quite refreshing and always a nice dose of fun. The approach is delightfully unique and catered to the needs of those in attendance. If you have a physical injury, she'll make sure to check in with you before sending you into a potentially painful pose. She's always been early and patiently waiting for attendees. Even having only occasionally done yoga for the past few years, she's got me doing inversions like I'm a regular practitioner. Freedom radiates a caring and loving energy, and is a pure delight to be around. Best vinyasa yoga teacher I've ever had!
I've been getting massage from Jonathan for almost two years now. When I met him I had been working with another massage therapist for over 15 years, but after talking with Jonathan at a social event, I decided to give his services a try. He has a fantastic approach to bodywork and is relentless about helping me work yoga and deep breathe into my daily life so that I can heal my body faster and build more strength and flexibility. I also really appreciate that Jonathan offers mobile massage, which makes it really convenient. He is a very skilled massage therapist and yoga instructor and I would highly recommend his services
I had a great experience with Hailey as my yoga instructor. She was very professional and did an excellent job explaining the different moves/how to do them. The whole set had a very nice flow, it was easy to follow which was nice because it allowed me to focus and not get distracted.
Eilee is a kind, gracious, and humble teacher, and I am always refreshed after practicing with her. Love this lady's generous spirit and thoughtful approach to yoga.
I have had a few Reiki healing sessions with Kaitlin, which have not only helped me physically relax and manage chronic pain, but also helped me create a relaxing mental space that I can revisit in my own meditation practice. Kaitlin has a very kind and loving energy and is a wonderful teacher and healer.
Caitlin was terrific! She wants to know your needs before she starts her interview with you, so as to focus her interview totally on what you need and are looking for in nutritional help. Her recipes are quick and very easy, and are amazingly tasty! In just two hours she prepared seven dishes with detailed information on what each food item offers as nutritional properties, and explained just how to prepare each dish. She was lively and entertaining and very professional. I look forward to her next workshop!!
For many years, I have sought out ways to increase my understanding of preventative health practices and to implement them into my life and the life of others I come in contact with. I became a yoga instructor, an energy practitioner (Reiki), a health coach, a breath worker, a massage therapist, a certified reflexologist and a cupping practioner. I love each one of these practices and enjoy incorporating all modalities within each individual session.
Each therapeutic massage session is designed specifically to meet each client's personal needs, using various modalities from Swedish, Sports, deep tissue, relaxation on a table, in addition to Thai massage on a Thai floor mat. I am a proponent of hemp CBD oil and offer CBD oil when requested.
I have a Masters degree in education and approach my work from the role of an educator. My job is not to perform, it is to coach and to pass along information to clients about their fitness and health goals. My diverse personal experience in my field and complementary credentials and certifications set me apart from others.
I have such a strong passion for what I do. I started buti yoga as a student and it changed my life so drastically both mentally and physically. I chose to get certified so I could share these amazing feelings and results with other women.

I am a beginning student of naturopathic medicine at NCNM in Portland, Oregon and a recent graduate of a 200-hour certified yoga instructor course with Kia Meaux in the vinyasa style with the anusara principles of alignment. I teach a physical hatha/vinyasa practice, connecting the breath with movement and exploring the subtle and more gross movements of the body with the goal of creating better awareness, mindfulness, and control of the mind and body as well as connecting with a deeper spirit of self. I teach any level of yoga, from beginning to advanced, and can cater the level and intensity based on your needs and experience. I have personally experienced radical transformations in my mental and physical well-being through the practice of yoga and hope to unite my knowledge of the body, yoga, natural medicine, and healing principles into my style of teaching.
