Amber is wonderful musician and teacher. I started getting violin lessons from her about 5 months ago. I was a complete beginner so I had to start from square one. And, I have yo admit, I found the idea of learning to play the violin really daunting. But I am so happy I found such a great teacher. Amber is always very patient and encouraging. She takes her time and plays along with me during my lessons. I am surprised how much I've learned in such a short time, not only about the violin, but about music in general. Best of all her enthusiasm for music is contagious. My lessons with her are fun and the fact that I'm having fun makes me want to practice even more. My experience with Amber has been so great! I definitely recommend her as a teacher.

Dorothy played violin for my September wedding ceremony as well as the violin part for our first dance song. She is a true professional and an all around pleasure to work with in any capacity! Her skills with the violin have only increased over the past few years and she is an absolutely beautiful player. I could seriously listen to her playing all day. Additionally, Dorothy was very helpful in picking out the music for the ceremony. I have a lot of experience singing with choirs during Catholic masses but I was overwhelmed by trying to select pieces to use during our mass and wedding ceremony. Dorothy and I Skyped, she played little segments to remind me of the songs and then we made our selections together. Thanks to her guidance, this process was quick and painless. She also worked long distance with the church music director and I heard only positive feedback from the other musicians and church staff. Even with being states away from me and the church, Dorothy pulled off a beautiful set without even breaking a sweat. I can still hear the sounds of her beautiful violin on our wedding day and it brings such joy to think about. If you are considering Dorothy for any project, do not hesitate. She is the best decision you could possibly make!

So far Bob is a great teacher. He was easy to talk to and enhanced my enthusiasm to play guitar. I've only had one lesson so it's a bit too early to tell, but the whole process from start to finish and the friendliness of the staff is superb.

About

I am a violin performance major at Baldwin Wallace Music Conservatory. I began playing violin at age 6 and have grown more passionate and dedicated to music every year since. I love being able to share my love for music with others through teaching and performing. I have a lot of experience playing music for weddings and special occasions. I also can easily find other musicians from the music conservatory to accompany me if you would like to have more than one instrumentalist for your special occasion.

About

Graduate of Violin Performance Master degree at Yale University and String Pedagogy Master degree at Temple University, I love both teaching and playing. I'm one of the faculties at Symphony in C Youth Orchestra and St. Malachy School where I work with many different ages and levels of students. I've had my private studio for many years teaching kids from age 4 to adults. I'm also an active orchestral player where I'm a member of the Virginia Symphony, Allentown Symphony, Symphony in C and New Jersey Capital Philharmonic. I believe it's very important for the teacher to have both experience in performing and teaching in order to fully understand and help the students. Through the lessons I help students on understanding the fundamentals of music theory, creating an ideal sound, and musical expression and coordination. Whether they're trying to just have fun with music, improve their basic skills or prepare auditions such as School or District Orchestra, Youth Orchestra (PYO PYAO or many other local groups), I try to find the best for each students. Every student is different. I work with students individually and use different approaches for each one of them. Such as methods, repertoire and lesson skills.

We have been thrilled with Sunny! I was looking for someone to teach my 15 year old piano, and was incredibly lucky to find Sunny. In addition to her flexibility she and reasonable rates, Sunny has an incredible educational background and knowledge base. She has been a fun and engaging teacher for my daughter, and her cheerful personality gave her an instant rapport with my teenager. In the few months that she has taught my daughter, I am amazed at the progress I have seen.

My daughter studied with Miss Natalie for just over a year. You can see her dedication and passion for playing come through when she teaches. Natalie has a kind and fun manner in which she connects with her students. She takes the time to explain what needs to be done, and is patient and caring in helping them to achieve their goals. Natalie was good with communicating her schedule, and flexible with any changes that may have needed to be made. We were very happy to have Miss Natalie as a teacher!

Annual recitals are held at the church, where my husband is the senior pastor at Limerick Chapel. I am a pastor's wife who learned to play as an adult. I play viola in our church orchestra.
