Quick response.. Exactly what I was looking for in guitar lessons. Everyone was very helpful. Thank you.
We asked Janet to provide music at a birthday party for our son who has autism. He loved it. She provided a wonderful program of music with interactive activities and songs that kept all the children engaged and enthralled. We not only loved her as party entertainment, but found her to be patient and encouraging in teaching guitar to our other son as well!
I took beginning ukulele lessons with Carol. I am a 58 year old student who can not read music. Carol was patient, understanding and very encouraging. As a first grade teacher, I plan to play the ukulele in class for our poetry lessons. Carol helped me learn the songs I will use in class and now I feel prepared and ready to shine like a rock star in front of my first graders! I would highly recommend her!
My 5 year old daughter took guitar lessons with Todd and she had a wonderful experience. He was patient and enthusiastic. He kept the lessons appropriately basic for her level, but she always left feeling proud of what she learned and was able to practice during the week and show us what she had done in class. We will continue taking lessons with Todd and we look forward to learning more!
Love Beams Music Studio! Tom is a great musician and a friendly, helpful guy when it comes to finding a music teacher to fit the bill or even to decide what instrument a kid should play. My son has made great advances in learning to play the piano and the saxophone. Even my younger kids (not yet taking lessons) know who Tom is because he's always friendly. I'd recommend Beams for everyone!
Very knowledgeable and fun to work with.
Matt was quick with responding to messages and when the first lesson was awesome. Helped with exactly what I asked for.
Dave is a terrific instructor, gives you his undivided attention and enthusiasm. Proficient, easy going, and a comfortable personality. Teaches according to your music preferences. The session isn't over until he is sure you "get it", and he makes himself available if you have questions. Have been disappointed with previous instructors, but always look forward to lessons with Dave!
Matthew has been so awesome with my daughter's guitar lessons. He is PROFESSIONAL , HONEST, TALANTED AND A GIFTED INSTRUCTOR. I give him the highest recommendation and truly am blessed to have found him. Thanks Matt for the great work.
She's really in tune with the student. Plan to keep going for more lessons.

Using a principle called Pareto's Law or the law of 80/20, I focus on the 20% of material (chords, scales, etc.) that will yield 80% of what a student is looking to learn. For example: out of all of the possible chords to learn, there are just a handful that a beginner should focus to be able to play hundreds of songs very quickly. I have a very active YouTube channel with thousands of subscribers who can be used as supplemental material for students. Skype lessons can be arranged for more remote students, and I take video requests if a student would like a specific song or technique broken down. Videos are a great way to learn at your own pace. The pricing varies depending on the type of lesson, but I keep it reasonable.
I have 8 years of teaching experience. I am 26 years old and energetic. Guitar, piano, bass, and ukulele lessons are offered. Pricing are as follows: * $18 a half hour in studio (local music shop) * $10 a half hour online
Our teaching philosophy is to instill a love of music through inspiration. Along with several years of teaching and performance experience, as well as successfully clearing a background check, Musika teachers are also graduates from reputable domestic and international conservatories, colleges, and universities. Musika Music Lessons takes time and consideration in pairing each student with a professional music educator that will help develop an understanding of all fundamental principles in music. We are happy to accomodate each student with any special requests that they may have.
