FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
i charge$150 per hour. Sometimes I will give special deals with 3 hours or more if you ask. I may charge a little extra for mileage if you are far away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk about what the new customer wants, if there is a theme or color theme, how many people will be expected at the party, how many balloons, faces and time for magic i would need for that many people. The order he or she'd like things done. If there is a guest of honor, their name & age. The address where the party will be held. (is it a residence or other- if other what is the name of it and is there parking) What is the best phone number to call them on the day of the party if needed, A deposit will be needed to hold that date and time. It will typically be 1/3 to 1/2 of the price of the party. The rest will be due at the time of the party.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Wow! It is hard to list it all here. I've been to about 8 years of Comedifest. I've taught classes and been an assistant director the last 3 years. I've been to the Northwest Festival of Clowns for 5 years. I've been to Mid Atlantic Clown Association Conventions for 7 years. In 2015, I went to COAI -Clowns of America International. I was in the top 10 in all categories that I was allowed to compete in.. I was also at 2 face painting conventions in Florida. All of these workshops were at least 4 days and up to 7 days of workshops on everything a clown should know. I also took a Brian Wolfe workshop, a Pashur workshop, and I'm sure others that I am forgetting. My work experience of almost 20 years is good training also!
