Ron was a great personal trainer. From day one, he will ask you what your goals are, and he will help put together a plan to achieve those goals. Another positive of working with Ron, he is very accommodating to his clients' schedules. What assists in making Ron enjoyable to work with is that he is excited for the results that his clients achieve. He also has a great understanding of how to push you towards your goals without pushing too hard. If you are stuck at a current weight, Ron will find a way to get you past it. The workouts are not monotonous since he adjusts the exercises you do to keep things fresh and to work other muscles.Feb 8, 2016
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We will sit down and talk about their specific fitness goals and come up with a plan as to how we will accomplish those goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attained a personal trainer certification from AFAA, but more importantly I have almost 40 years of practical experience training clients. I also had the great privilege of training under a world champion power lifter and a western PA bodybuilding champion. Additionally, I competed in both power lifting and bodybuilding so I have walked the walk and don't just talk about what I learned in school.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?It has been a lifelong love affair for me and I decided in 2002 to make it a full time vocation and get the proper certifications although I have been training people since 1979.
