FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to school for psychology and while I loved the people I was working with, I didn't love it as much as my hobby, photography. I was booking clients and weddings and so forth and it brought me SO much joy, and my clients loved what I gave them. So I began what is now a 6 year journey to owning a successful and wonderful business I adore.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While weddings and portrait work is the bread and butter of Swiger Photography, I have done it all. We currently have a contract with McDonald's restaurants, I've shot parties ranging from sweet 16 to 100th birthday to fundraisers for national organizations like Action Aids and Habitat for Humanity. I have photographed headshots for real estate agents, actors/actresses, business professionals and even whole offices. We've done fundraisers for Chevy, Colors, HAVEN Youth, The William Way Center, and many others. Whatever you are looking for, I am certain we can help you!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
-Love who you hire. As someone who hires other vendors for my clients, I know that if you don't like the business they run or the people you'll be working with, its not going to go well. -Trust your gut. If you have an uneasy feeling, often its right. -But the flip side of that, have realistic expectations and trust us too. We know what we are doing (or we should!) and if we care about our business, we will care about making you happy. We know what works or how to bring ideas to life, so use us and our experience! -Be honest. If you are looking for something specific, only want a certain look, or have a strict budget, tell us!! We can't make you happy if we don't know!
