Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm pretty intense when it comes right down to it. Designing a project for a client and seeing it through to its completion is most rewarding. I treat their project as if I were doing it in my own home. All contractors feel their product is best, but when the customer is insanely satisfied... that is the best form of flattery and the most rewarding form of advertising for my company.

Basement Finishing or Remodeling

My fiancé and I were tackling our first major home renovation - completing an unfinished basement. We were nervous about the entire process, especially finding a quality contractor. Some contractors never responded, others were way outside our price range. Anthony was friendly and helpful from the start. He made us feel completely at ease and guided us through the entire process. The work started ahead of schedule and he was very communicative, answering all our questions and immediately tending to any minor concerns that came up during the renovation. The crew worked neatly (we couldn’t have a dumpster on site due to HOA regulation), hauling all trash at the end of each day to a construction waste site. Although they did not work long hours (approx. 8:30a-2p daily, traveling from New Jersey), their craftsmanship was evident in the suggestions they made and the work they performed. Towards the end, we did feel like the crew were rushed to get to other scheduled jobs on time, leaving some very minor things unattended (paint touch up mostly), but we would most definitely hire again!

Basement Finishing or Remodeling

We asked Anthony for a proposal to do a basement job on short notice and he was gracious and responsive in doing so. Unfortunately we decided to change course so we didn’t end up using his services, but I’m going to keep his info in my back pocket for the future.

Patio Remodel or Addition

Anthony was hired to install a pavers patio and 3 lighted lamp posts. The planning phase was impeccable. He came with 3 different designs and a vision of the perfect posts and lights for our property. Unfortunately, the lights were not installed due to HOA restrictions but he was kind enough (and patient) to hang in there during the long architectural request process. The paver block is of the highest quality. It was installed following demolition of the existing cement sitting area. Anthony coordinated, scheduled and monitored the work throughout the project. We are extremely pleased with his professionalism and work. We've already invited him back for landscaping and we'll have him back for bathroom demolition and improvement next year. Thank you Anthony and team!

Anthony Pino totally remodeled my 3,000 Sq. ft. home, while keeping well within my budget. This included gutting my kitchen, 2 bathrooms and adding a 20' by 30' composite deck off my kitchen. In addition he finished in the time-frame that was promised. My kitchen now has beautiful cherry cabinets with a glass back splash and wood floors to compliment. My bathrooms are equally delightful both consisting of a mixture of marble and tile and soothing lighting. I am looking forward to my next project which will be my basement with a wine cellar. I highly recommend Mr. Pino and his team for their superior craftsmanship. Nancy S.

Home Remodeling

I am a first time home-buyer and I was told to download Thumbtack because it’s a reputable service to help find legit contractors and other services tou may need. Well my experience was not a very good one. I should have known from first form of communication. 1: I left a message for Pino Works and he responded and I responded back to him in 30 min. He did not respond until after 1 day and half. That was because I took the li et tu to call ans leave a voice message. He then advised he did not see the message appear. Although and text notification is sent to the phone and email once a message has been sent. 2: I looked past this incident and decided to proceed in speaking with him on this day. I advised him what I was looking to do and he said he would like to come out and take a look at the property to do the consultation. I have him a date/time of Thursday June 17, 2021 at 3pm. His words were “I think that should be ok, but let me check ans I will either call or message you back a confirmation message”. I said ok. He responded in about an hour stating “ Tamara, Nice speaking with you today. I will see you next Thursday @3pm. Anthony 3: Yesterday, June 17 has now arrived and I placed a call to Anthony at 3:09 pm and at 3:30pm and left messages both times. Anthony finally returned my call at 5:13 pm. He advised that he had me booked for Friday and I advised him that he did not. I told him I would still be at the property till about 7:30pm and if he could still make it I would be available. That is when he informed me that he was in New Jersey working on another project and apologize for double booking. I was really upset because I was not expecting this type of conduct from a person on Thumbtack that is supposed to be licensed, has all his ducks in a row and “professional”. I decided not to go with PinoWorks, LLC due to the lack of professionalism. 4: Please take a look at Anthony’s message to me this morning. It does not even warrant a response from me. Please be careful with this company.
PinoWorks, LLC's reply
Wow… my company or I have never ever been accused of not being professional, especially without even putting a nail in a wall. I responded immediately once I listened to your voicemail and explained that I wrote down the wrong day on my calendar and apologized. I also sent you, on Thumbtack, another apology and offered to assist in anyway I could. This scathing review is totally unwarranted for a simple clerical error. We have many requests a day from Thumbtack that need to be addressed and PinoWorks is cordial and professional when responding. Tamara… I wish you well with finding the right contractor for your needs. Just know you missed out on a very reputable company, always in high demand… especially for its professionalism and fine remodeling skills. Anthony J. Pino PinoWorks
