For anyone looking for a personal trainer, I would recommend Anthony Pietropaolo. Anthony has been my personal trainer for a year and four months. He works in the Bethel Park area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He plans very good workout routines that incorporate cardio, strength, core, and weight training. He also includes exercises to improve flexibility and balance. Anthony plans a variety of different exercises in each session to give his clients a full body workout. He is a positive, encouraging and supportive person to work with as well. He will give you very good workouts, and makes them fun at the same time. The costs for his sessions are reasonable too. I am very pleased with my results, since working with him. My specific fitness goal was to lose weight (20-30 lbs). Diabetes runs in my family and I knew this extra weight I was carrying was unhealthy and did not want to develop this disease myself. I have also had chronic lower back pain due to the extra weight I carried. I told Anthony about this pre-existing lower back pain of mine that comes and goes. He makes sure that any exercise he plans does not aggravate these sensitive lower back muscles. He will even ask if a certain exercise or weight amount is okay on my back. He is sensitive and aware of any weaknesses anyone may have in a specific area of their body and is careful not to over stress those areas during his sessions. Anthony has been great! I started training with him earlier this year and he has done a great job of keeping the workouts interesting and pushing me to try workouts I would have never tried on my own... Definite recommend!!!!!

Anthony is a fantastic trainer! He will push you to your limit while encouraging you the whole way. I am building muscle and getting leaner. I am a beginner and do not feel judged by Anthony. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer. Regardless of your fitness background, he can help anyone reach their goals.

I started training with Anthony in April of 2014. Anthony incorporates strength training, cardiovascular, and balance into many of our workouts. The exercises that we do are challenging but fun at the same time. When I first started to workout with Anthony I had a hard time with different things such as push ups from my knees. We worked on correcting my form and have built up to doing full body weight push ups! Right away he noticed that my right ankle was weaker from a sprain that I had endured years ago. We did various exercises that have helped me to strengthen and also improve my balance. I would recommend Anthony for training. He is very knowledgeable and can come up with a unique plan that will help you to conquer your individual goals.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Standard prices for One Hour, 45 Minute and Half Hour sessions start at $45, $36 and $30 respectively. Prices go lower depending on the number and frequency of sessions purchased. Complete Prices and Packages can be found at my website apfitnow.com

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    New Clients typically go thru a postural assessment and initial assessment workout. Then we sit down and talk about their particular goals, and how to overcome some of the challenges that my interfere in accomplishing those goals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from California University of PA. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and I am a Certified Speed Specialist from the National Association of Speed and Explosion.
