My name is Jennifer Marie Johns, and I am an energetic, hard working, meticulous, detail oriented woman looking to make your day a special one. I have almost 10 year of experience in all areas of the party planning business. My goal is to make your event stress-free, pain-free and worry-free. Just tell me what you want, when you want it, how many people, and BAM; I'll have a plan, costs, ideas and everything your little heart desires on a concise BEO for you to confirm. My past clients (as part of a hotel event staff) have been major corporations, sports teams, group outings, families, weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs consisting of up to 400 people. My past events (as sole owner of Events by Jenny!) have been a wedding coordinator for 100 people, an adult birthday party for 50 people, a children's birthday party for 40 people and a rehearsal dinner for 20 guests. My future events include weddings, dinner party, wedding, dinner party, oh and another wedding... On September 29, 2015, Jennifer Johns, owner and operator of Events by Jenny was the coordinator for our outdoor farm wedding in Somerset County Pennsylvania. Jennifer had previously communicated and met with us to assist us on our big day. She offered very many helpful tips, was punctual, very friendly, accommodating, and most of all patient. Jennifer’s attention to detail was meticulous and was able to transform our ideas and bring them to life the day of the wedding. Jenny arrived at the venue at approximately 10:30 a.m. and began to set up the tables for guests, food, deserts, bar, and gifts. She arranged our tables and decoration more elegantly than we were able to imagine and describe. Throughout the event, she kept us on track and on time, she was able to assist us with all of our needs from drinks, to food, and elderly guests special needs. Some of the most valuable help was intercepting questions, giving direction, and guidance to other vendors and the property owners. Jennifer was extremely diligent and I was amazed with the amount of items she was able to handle at one time while keeping everything beautiful and progressing flawlessly. She even assisted in helping the caterers clean up as the event was transitioning from dinner to the party. Jenny was the best money we spent on our wedding day and looking back, I am not sure it would have turned out as magical as it was without her. Jennifer was a true professional in every aspect, and was very knowledgeable and helpful.
