Introduction: Edgewater Landscapes LLC provides high quality landscaping solutions for both residential and commercial clients. We proudly announce that this is our fifth year in business, but don't let that fool you into thinking we are not experienced! Owner/manager David Silliman has over 20 years of practical experience in the landscaping field and a degree from Penn State University in Landscape Contracting and Horticulture. Edgewater Landscapes is fully capable of providing you with excellent knowledge and value with every service we deliver. We love working with our clients to create an outdoor environment they can enjoy with out breaking their backs or wallets! We do things the right way the first time and do not cut corners. We also specialize in the art of proper pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs.

My search initially found 3 pros for my lawn care needs. All 3 responded but only Edgewater Landscapes LLC came to our house as originally scheduled and listened to what we wanted done. The other 2 kept rescheduling and were not professional. David gave us a fair price for the initial clean up and for weekly mowing/trimming of our yard. It's too early to cut the grass, but the initial yard clean up they did was amazing! They efficiently blew every leaf from our yard, back hill, flower beds, and driveway onto a tarp, loaded them on their trailer, and took them all away. When they were finished my yard looked wonderful, with no sticks or leaves visible. We're confident that he will do a great job mowing, too! Unlike those who attempt to do yardwork without much knowledge (and cut down my favorite clematis vine), David has a degree from Penn State and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping.

Dave went above and beyond with my yard project of converting part of the lawn to a meadow. Replied immediately when I sent a text. Arrived when promised. Worked over 4 hours straight to rototill area and prep for wildflower seeding. Great work ethic and dependable.

Dave's team did a fantastic job weeding my monstrosity of a front slope. They transformed the yard quickly and at a good price. Dave is a great communicator--he replies promptly and sends updates without being asked. We will definitely work with them again.

Every job is catered to the client's needs, expectations and budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet in person to review the needs and expectations of the client. After we develop a plan together, I provide an estimate for the services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 19 years hands-on experience, a B.S in Landscape Contracting with minors in soils and arboriculture from The Penn State University (main campus). I specialize in proper pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs.
