Beth is an amazing yoga instructor - for all age students. She is encouraging and supportive, blending a soft narrative with measured instructions for poses. I drive 35 miles each way to be in Beth's class on a weekly basis, and have done so for over a year. I hope YOU are fortunate enough to take one of her classes

Frequently too over scheduled to join a weekly yoga class, I found solace in private lessons with Susan. She helped to transform my home into a comfortable and tranquil space to practice yoga. I have really enjoyed the custom poses and attention I received during my private practice. In fact, I attribute my new found confidence on the mat to growth that happened during my private lessons with Susan. I highly recommend treating yourself to a lesson with her.

I always loved taking group classes with Tiffany, so when I had the chance to do some individual sessions with her, I didn't hesitate. Tiffany is a very knowledgeable instructor and has a gentle and creative approach with students. As a yoga instructor myself, I found it super valuable to learn from such an experienced teacher and especially appreciated her anatomical knowledge and her eye for the subtle shifts in my body in each pose. After each session, I walked away with a new nugget of knowledge. Tiffany balances the technical aspects of both the physical and mental practice of yoga in her teaching. Plus, she's super fun! I would highly recommend setting up a session or series of sessions with Tiffany if you get the chance. You won't regret it!

    A nice little studio, with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. There are several different types of classes available, and the instruction is thorough, and you are never pressured to do beyond what your level is. It's yoga for you, the way you want to experience it.

    Rachel is a very personable and professional instructor and has great knowledge of yoga and the human body to get the most out of a yoga session. My wife previously complained of back pain and after 3 or 4 sessions she said her pain had gone away and was feeling great. We will continue to work with Rachel.

The step-by-step development from 1A to 3D is a progression that is leading from the least challenging to the most dynamic postures such as head standing. The classic series ranging from 25 minutes at 1A to 1.5 hours with 3D does not break any continuity from one lesson to the next. * Short Series Intro (Pranayama, Preparatory, Salutation, Strength, and Stretch) You may choose to work with the short series if you have only 5-25 minutes of practice time.     Rather than offering group yoga classes, I primarily focus on one-on-one private Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions and 8 Week Mindfulness & Grief groups, as well as drop in meditation classes. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is done one-on-one in a confidential environment. To begin, I lead you through a guided meditation to help you set an intention or goal for the session. Then I gently move and stretch you while you relax on the fluffy mat - honoring your own body's needs and limits. At the end of the session, I lead you through another guided meditation, which allows you to reflect on how the session relates to your life.Then you are invited to set an "action step" to do outside of the session, which will help you take a step towards your initial goal. It may be to relax, to heal from grief, or family and career related goals. I have been giving sessions since 2003, and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you don't like the session, you don't pay. (No one has ever had to take me up on this!) I am the author of Mindfulness & Grief, which is based on the 8 week group that I created and facilitate.
