FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees vary, based primarily on distance, and on the difficulty of loading in/setting up in a venue. Please be aware that as a big band, we are bringing a sizable contingent of musicians and equipment into the venue, ordinarily 17 instrumentalists, along with up to 4 vocalists and a sound technician. We strive to work with non-profit and veteran related organizations to provide reasonable fees, well below standards for the level of entertainment we provide. We recommend a personal conversation/consultation to review your situation, and what your requirements are for making your special event Unforgettable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With all new customers, we recommend a telephone conversation to discuss the details of your special event, and of the venue that you have scheduled. We are easy to work with, and will work with event planners and venue hosts to ensure your event goes smoothly. During the initial consultation, we'll be able to give an estimated cost for your event. In some cases, particularly involving venues unfamiliar to us, one of our musical directors may want to visit the venue to review space and power availability. We will then be able to finalize the event price and provide a contract, along with instructions for submitting a deposit, which locks in your date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
