Anthony tutored me one right before my physics final. I was hopelessly lost in physics and at risk of failing the class. That one tutoring session helped me to get an A on my final and a B as my final grade in the class! He made foreign concepts make sense and helped me solve problems when I had no idea where to start. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand and remember and was very patient and encouraging when I felt confused. Anthony tutored me in pre-calculus and college physics... neither come naturally for me. Anthony's tutoring methods are outstanding; he was able to pinpoint which part of a concept I did not understand, and asked me questions in a way that let me guide myself to the answer. Anthony is also very patient and encouraging, and I never felt stupid with him. With his help, I got A+ in both math and physics!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am beginning my PhD in physics this fall at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the hopes of one day becoming a physics professor. Whether as a student or a teacher, my career will always be closely connected to academia. I therefore make it a priority to constantly improve my math and physics know-how.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
With or without the help of a tutor, learning is best achieved in a relaxed and stress-free environment. One of the most crucial steps in understanding new material is removing any anxiety that may be associated with the topic. I see to it that my students feel comfortable and confident as they work.
