I hired Robin to help me with updating 18 yr.old townhouse I downsized to. I have changed my preferences from traditional to a pared down contemporary look. Robin is helping me with this transition by planning work in phases so I can budget ,color scheme selection, repositioning of current furniture and guidance about new purchases. She is highly professional, realistic, style versatile and very importantly -practical about my needs. She is not like other designers I have encountered who charge exhorbitant rates or require you to buy products. She is truly a design consultant and customer focused. Her rates are very reasonable -whether you want her help with a small project or a complete design and project management of a whole house remodel. I am still working with her on my next project - I highly recommend her.Oct 23, 2015Verified

I worked with Robin multiple times and each time is a pleasure. I am a contractor and when Robin is on the job everything runs very smoothly. I would highly recommend her services and look forward to be working with her in the futureOct 23, 2015
Robin provided a service that the definition of above and beyond. She organized personally handled the complete process of getting a house with 47 years worth of stuff and no updates emptied and ready for sale. The death of my father and being 165 miles away left me in a real bind to deal with things. Robin helped with anything and everything and was truly supportive in getting the house sold including getting and supervising contractors. She was the general contractor for this sale! - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I read alot! I do not take classes unless it is a webinar that I feel will show me something I cannot find myself. In this industry, you either have that design sense or you don't. It should be a natural thing. I find the best way to find new innovations in the industry is to talk with fellow designers, contractors and suppliers. Keeping up to date is getting yourself out there and observing, touching and doing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started out as a graphic designer and just naturally morphed into interiors. Instead of designing an ad space or brochure, I am applying my knowledge of organization, color, space relationship and marketing to your home.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Once the housing market took a down-turn I found myself getting more "interior design on a budget" projects. Helping people to choose color and utilize their space effectively and efficiently seems to be the trend now. People are staying in there homes instead of selling. I help them refresh the space using some of what they have and bringing in key pieces where necessary. Always keeping in mind sale appeal and staying away from design trends.
