Introduction: Hello Everyone! I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Nutritional Consultant, a Master Personal Trainer and have an Exercise Science degree and attended the National Personal Training Institute. I have been training for 12 years and am a competitive Olympic Weightlifter. I've trained men and women ages 9-87 for you name it. Sports performance, weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding, general fitness, weight loss, weight gain. I know the science and the myths and I know why. And I'm strong and can do more pull ups than the average Joe but I have good aesthetics and am lean.

I wanted a trainer to help me get on track to reach my fitness goals, but I'd never hired anyone before. Feeling brave, I decided to put my request out there on Thumbtack. Candice took the initiative to contact me, so I met with her and she designed a personalized program for me using her expertise in exercise science. I was impressed with her wide knowledge base and experience - her body is her job, so I felt like I could trust her with mine. Her logical approach was exactly what I needed, as I had struggled with disappointment for years of not seeing results. She developed a vegan fitness and nutrition guide especially for me, and has been available to answer all my questions on time. After one month of training with her, I lost 0.65lb of body fat, and gained 2.35lbs of muscle. Finally, results I am proud of to fuel my motivation to continue. I am very satisfied with Candice's work and definitely recommend her to anyone who is ready for change, because she will help you get there.

I have been working with Candice for about five weeks now and I am really happy with the support and training I have received from her. She sat down with me and listened to my needs then created a program for my specific needs. I was very impressed with her knowledge in all areas of fitness and nutrition and the amount of education she has had. She is willing to come to my home which is really convenient. I started out pretty slow but can feel my self gaining strength. I am less stiff and have more energy. I look forward to continuing my training with Candice.

Candice is very detailed oriented and set specific goals according to my fitness level and ability. I chose to have her come to my residence for my workouts, and she has been able to accommodate us not being in a fitness center easily. She arranges things so that I am well aware of what I need to be doing on the days we are not meeting. I was worried that as an older individual (53) I would not be able to do what she asked of me, but she has set realistic goals for me. Only a week into the new me, and I feel amazing. I'm already starting to see results. I look forward to being in the best shape of my life now that I found her!
