FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Custom website development for small and medium sized businesses, social media & search engine optimization. Typically, our clients already have a website and it's time for an upgrade.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework! The web development industry is full of snake oil salesman that are not capable of producing a holistic digital product. Many times, these places appear to be bigger than they are, or they promise services they cannot deliver. Our best advice is to start by really flushing out what you would like to see in your website, social media or search engine optimization. Make a list of desired features, goals, and ideas (typically called a 'scope document'). Then, get more than one quote and be sure everyone is on an equal playing field by handing out the scope document you prepared. Once you've collected the proposals, hold their feet to the fire by making everyone demonstrate their true capabilities! Go to their place of business and really get a sense for their resources, people and capabilities. One other thing to consider: determine your budget ahead of time and don't be afraid to provide that budget when getting quotes! This will most likely end up giving you the best mix of products, services and talent - for the pricing you want. Plus, if your budget is low - you won't waste your time talking to the fanciest most expensive game in town - but you don't have to settle for some loser working out of their mom's basement either! Finally - please keep in mind that your website is an extension of your business. You need an organization who is going to be with you, through good times and bad, as a true partner to your business - not just another vendor.
