FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fees are $50 a hour. There are discounts available based on the number of sessions per week. All training sessions are to be prepaid and 24-hour cancellation is required unless there is an emergency.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free consultation to discuss health history, nutritional goals and fitness goals. After that meeting, I develop an integrated exercise plan for the client based on their performance on basic fitness testing. This fitness assessment looks at muscle imbalances, fitness levels and abilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning. I originally I earned my Certified Personal Trainer certificate from ISSA. I have also completed my SpartanSGX Level 1 and SpartanSGX Level 2 certification. I am also half way through the curriculum for my Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotions. By the end of the summer I will sitting for my exam in Sports Performance Training from NASM. I also hold certification through the National Association of Speed and Explosion. I am part of the SpartanSGX Coaches team. Monthly we have webinars about current issues with fitness and nutrition. There is not a day that goes by that I am not discussing or researching new things to improve myself and my practice, with the ultimate goal of bringing better services to my clients.
