FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am quite flexible when it comes to matching your budget. Typically, $200-$250 for a full shoot of aerial videography, delivered as the raw, unedited files in whatever format best suits your needs. For color correction and/or full edits of the piece usually run about $35 per hour worked. Typically for a 30-second video with basic edits and motion graphics will run about 8-12 hour working time, but can vary based on your needs. I'm always happy to discuss pricing estimates in detail!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually would like to first determine the client's needs. Is this a simple flyover of a field with editing being done by a third-party? Or perhaps this is a larger production that will require heavy edits to help tell a story? Pre-Production is very important to me and taking the time to find out exactly what my clients need before the filming begins is critical to delivering a stellar final product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a 4 week FAA course to learn everything there is needed to know about how to operate a drone safely and efficiently. I used this knowledge to obtain the FAA UAV Part 107 licence to operate unmanned aircrafts legally.
