Sophie was absolutely wonderful. From our very first interaction on Thumbtack she was prompt and answered all of my questions and put all my event nerves at ease. She arrived early to the location and listened carefully to what look I was going for. You can tell that she enjoys what she does because as she saw that your makeup was coming out right she would smile and it was so reassuring. I recieved probably hundreds of compliments on both my hair and makeup all night long and was told over and over how beautiful I looked. She really made me feel confident and super happy. Coming from someone who is a very picky person, she did an amazing job and I would hire her again in a second! Thank you, Sophie!

I was doing a photoshoot and needed my makeup done. A week before I went to Ulta to get it done for a different shoot and I was horrified! I actually went hope and wiped some of it off and fixed a few other things I didn't like. So I went on to Thumbtack to find a makeup artist. Sophie was the first response I got back and just reading the reviews I was already sold! The day of the shoot, she came with her things and she was dressed professionally and she was super nice! We had great conversations so it wasn't awkward silence like my experience at Ulta for an hour and a half. Throughout her doing my makeup, when she stepped back she would smile at the work she was doing which made you feel better about what she was doing since majority of the time you couldn't see what was being done. My Ulta makeup artist never smiled, she seemed more confused than anything. At the end my makeup and hair was beautiful even though I didn't seem excited about it but that was because I was nervous about the shoot! She did an amazing job! Definitely worth the price! And I would definitely hire again for my other shoots!
