Molding or baseboards,
I hired Eric to replace the tile in my shower floor and three tiles on my backsplash, and ended up having him repair my porch, replace the basement floor, repair window screens, cut several needed access panels in walls, install a backflow valve, and a few other odd projects. He and his worker show up, work hard, and thoughtfully consider each project. Once we sell this house we look forward to hiring him again for projects on our next home.Apr 22, 2015Verified
I hired Eric back in September 2014 to redo the master bathroom in my rental property, as well as a few other odds and ends. He worked quickly and competently, his prices were fair and he was easy to get a hold of. I'd work with him again, for sure.Nov 28, 2014VerifiedBlue Collar Building Contractors's reply

Stair and Staircase Repair
It was a great pleasure having Blue Collar Building Contractors into my home to replace my basement steps. Eric and his team were very nice and professional. The area in which they worked was left very clean and neat. I am very happy with the job that was done, and would not hesitate to use Blue Collar Building Contractors for future projects.Mar 11, 2015Verified
I would definitely recommend Eric and his crew. They were extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. The work on our stair railing was quick and fantastic. It looks even better than we were expecting!. We plan on using them again when we re do our kitchen floors!Nov 17, 2014VerifiedBlue Collar Building Contractors's reply

Switch and Outlet Installation
I had Eric put an outlet in my basement for a sump pump & he did a great job. Eric explained everything he was doing while installing the outlet. I'll be using Eric again to renovate my bathroom.Mar 4, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I typically charge between $600-700 per day. That covers the labor for me and 1 or 2 employees. Materials are at cost.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Bathroom / Kitchen renovations, Plumbing, Heater repair. Chimney liners, Tile floors, tile back splash.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Get a few quotes. Choose the right size company for your task. I recently renovated a kitchen for $7k in labor, which covered me and 2 employees. The other bid was for $16k. Some contractors price out a bid for a home run on every job. Other contractors simply have a lot more overhead, and alot more equipment, and payroll.
