- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dee Hurford Designs has a comprehensive plan rate that is consistent with every project that requires drawings. The project management rate is a percentage of the overall project. Hourly rates are also available
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a phone call. The client and I discuss the project(s) to determine if it is a good fit for both parties. If so an initial consultation visit is scheduled for me to see the space and discuss the project in greater detail and to get more specific information like budget and time frame. If both parties are in agreement an agreement is signed for work to begin and deposit is collected. Within 1-2 weeks a comprehensive plan is created to include space plan, a itemized budget to include contractor fees (if necessary), furniture, window treatments, colors, floor coverings, accessories and anything else to complete the project. The client has the option to executive the plan themselves and utilize Dee Hurford Designs as a consultant or continue with Dee Hurford Designs as project manager. I am always available to answer questions via phone, text, or email if I am managing the project or not. The end result is exceptional customer service and a home that the client will love.
