Introduction: Hi there! I’m Ashley and I’m an adventurous, goofy, nature-loving photo nerd who is passionate about creating, sharing, and exploring all things photography. I first stumbled upon photography when I got an iPod touch and started taking shots of anything and everything with the device’s grainy little trooper of a camera. Since then I have earned a BFA in photography, spent years honing my skills as a photo assistant and begun my own freelance photography business. If you are looking for a portrait, wedding, product, or event photographer, you’re in the right place! My goal is to help my customers have the most fun and unique photoshoot experience possible. While I am highly skilled in many photographic genres, I also specialize in fantasy and cosplay photography. So if you want to make yourself look like a mystical woodland fairy, a dueling Jedi, or anything else your imagination dreams up, I'd love to be the artist who makes that magic happen! I've done both a one-on-one photoshoot with Ashley and attended a formal wedding with her as the event photographer. On both occasions, Miss Selig produced outstanding, unique photos that captured both my ideas and her own in a polished, creative way. She handles direction very well, and can offer plenty of ideas and advice when consulted for event photography. These wedding photos look completely different than any other scrapbook I've ever seen!! Even with traditional group photos, the staging and personality from each person really came through - we weren't just lined up and told to smile. I also can't get over the sheer number of photos we were able to choose from at the end! Ashley was discreetly snapping away the whole time - so even when we sat down to review only her best selections, we still had hundreds of quality pictures to pick from. Miss Selig made the entire wedding party feel comfortable and looked after, and we couldn't be happier with the final results. You want Ashley at your event!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My packages include a lot of variation so that I am able to customize my services to fit exactly what a client is looking for!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like to get to know my client and the type of work they are looking for before a photo shoot. This includes discussing details like the type of images they are looking for, any inspiration or styles of photography they are drawn too, and what kind of location and time of day they have in mind for their shoot. I also like to help give clients an idea of what to expect and prepare for on the day of the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in photography and extensive experience as a freelance photographer and photo editor. I have worked as a University Relations photographer at Arcadia University, a newspaper photo correspondent in Montgomery County, a second shooter for weddings, and as a freelancer.
