Have been working out with Kara for two weeks now. I am not a self motivator and Kara helps me stay motivated. Also, I have several health issues that have to be paid attention to while working out and Kara is very attentive to that and makes sure the workout stays within the limits of those issues while still managing to push me and my body to be our best and get the most from each and every workout. Kara not only works with you for training but also helps you understand your nutrition and follows up with her suggestions to see if they were helpful. One other thing I was impressed with is after each workout, while I am finishing stretching and getting my things together to leave, Kara cleans all the equipment and wipes the floor mats down too. SO happy that I am not sharing dirt and sweat with other clients. Her workout room is clean. That is a big plus.
I'm a healthy, active 50+ year old male that has been into physical fitness/nutrition for most of my adult life. Over the last few years I had been thinking of hiring a personal trainer, to up my fitness game. I had spoken to a few but didn't hire anyone because the chemistry seemed off. Recently, I discovered Performance Fitness Training, went in for a consultation and liked their ideology. They were thorough in the questions they asked in order to understand my goals and were straight forward with the knowledge/help they would provide and the discipline/responsibility I would need to have in order to reach those goals (i.e. no outlandish promises). I've had a few workouts with a very knowledgeable PFT personal trainer named "Kyle." This young man is very knowledgeable, motivating and easy to talk with. I have learned something new each workout and leave looking forward to the next one. PFT is exactly what I've been looking for, and as of this writing, I am very pleased and excited about finding them.

I have been working with Bill since June 2015 (about six months) and have seen huge changes in a short amount of time. Bill has helped me shift from eating six small meals per day (who has time for that?!) to intermittent fasting with four meals per day. What a remarkable change! Not only is it easier to plan fewer meals but I also enjoy them more because they aren’t so tiny and mentally taxing! With Bill’s help and the intermittent fasting mindset I have been able to slim down 20lbs. I was stuck in a rut when I first met with Bill so seeing and feeling this change has been fantastic physically and mentally! Another area Bill helped me with was reducing my training and time spent in the gym—LESS time in the gym?—sounds crazy, right?! Not so! Bill steered me towards more meaningful workouts and elimination of overtraining. I was very guilty of overtraining—more is better? Wrong! Bill’s method is simple: 1. Have a plan; 2. 30 minutes to execute the plan; and 3. If you can’t get it done in 30 minutes you’re doing it wrong. It’s wonderful not to spend two hours in the gym every morning wearing myself out overtraining and not seeing results. The lifting/cardio regimen Bill taught me has worked wonders on my body. My back has toned even more, my waste/hips are smaller (!), and my strength is at an all time high. Seeing the physical changes I’m able to achieve with Bill’s guidance has improved my confidence and mental health, as well. Bill knows this business! He makes certain you are doing the best exercises for you and doing them with the correct form for best results! His fitness knowledge, personal experience, and guidance are an asset.
