I must say that I was very impressed with Don. He arrived earlier than our appointment time and went straight to work to remove our old leaky water heater and replace it with a new one. I would and will definitely recommend Don Updegrave Construction!

I would highly recommend Don Updegrave. They arrived on time and work was done quickly and efficiently. Cost was reasonable also. I expect to call on them again for future work and will recommend to friends who need anything done around the home.

My initial contact with Don was fine. When his guy, Will, came to my house, he drained my toilet tank and told us that we had a crack and should replace the entire thing. We made plans to buy a new toilet that night, and Will said he would return in the morning, just give him a call. On his way out, he told us how much he hates cats... In front of one of ours. We called him at 9am, and he said he wouldn't be available until later that day. A couple of hours later, he texted my husband and asked if he could do it next week. That was unacceptable, so I called Don. No answer, so I left a message asking him to call me back. After four hours of not hearing anything, I found someone else to do the work. Will left a message with me saying that he was sick (not his original reason for not doing the work, he had said he was too busy) and would be able to do it in the morning. My husband texted him and told him thank you, but we found someone else. Will flipped out and sent a long message about how he removed the tank (he didnt) and how he was going to bill us $40 for it. Around the same time, I received a message from Don that sounded suspiciously like Will's writing. I said I was unhappy with the harassment, and haven't heard back since. Best avoided.

Type your response to this review.the customer did not say she would have the toilet first thing in the next morning or we would have installed it then We would have run out the day we're we're there but homeowner wanted to buy all supplies ?? Most plumbers have A $50-$75 service call to show up I thought $40 was fair because we showed up and found the problem Never got paid ??
