Introduction: Not every dj can do this job. It does take a special person with experience. My passion is my career...entertaining people. Watching them smile and enjoy the event. I understand what my customers are looking for. There are many more characters one must be than just "DJ". People. I LOVE PEOPLE! Most events are friends and family or co-workers, to be apart of any event in celebration of anyone is an honor and privilege. Music is fun, dancing is fun, people are fun. I would not recommend this dj for your special event. He completely forgot about my wedding! I decided to call him 30 min before my wedding to let him know we were only setting up under the tent and not outside due to rain, and he had to ask me what time he was supposed to be there and where it was. He showed up over an hour late, unprepared w/ the correct music. I made the mistake of paying him 3 weeks in advance, he acted like we would talk about a refund after the honeymoon and i've been trying to get a hold of him for over a month and he will not respond at all, complete unprofessional jerk!

I really enjoyed the work that was done, the lighting was great and every song I asked to be played was! I had specific requests of the night and they were all taken care of! At one point i forgot what order everyone came in to and he remembered and had everyone line up. Even after the reception was done I was congratulated and thanked.

DJ Styles did our wedding reception from 5-10 on July 20th 2013. this was the perfect day. it was really hot outside but Dave kept the music going and everyone had fun and kept dancing. It was exactly what we wanted. Everything went smoothly and very relaxed. Everyone said it was the best wedding they ever went to! the only way it could have went better is if it lasted longer! =)

Loved working with David. He incorporated all my wishes for my special 40th bday party. He worked hard and was available via cell when I needed him. I received many positive comments from my guests regarding his professionalism and good music taste. Loved the slide show!!!

Ask alot of questions. The more info your dj can give you, the more they know about servicing your event beyond your expectations. Know as many details for your event as possible to ensure your event is customized to your requirements. Reputation is everything, ask about past performances. Ask the dj if they are a part time or career entertainer. This can help you decide if the complexity and importance of your event meet the skill level of your possible prospect dj. Ask what is included in the event package. Many djs charge more when asked if it costs more. Get a phone quote, you are going to want to know how they speak and conduct themselves before you hire.
