I used R&J Services to help me move. Rich was very helpful in that he did not finish until the job was complete. Also, everything was done much quicker than I had expected.. Especially for moving an entire house full of items in below freezing temps. He did an excellent job and I would definitely use him again or recommend him any friend or family member for services.

R & J Services handled the job very quickly. They even had a card reader so I did not have to stop at an ATM for payment.

Initially he came by and looked over things and provided the amt of time it would take plus we discussed payment. I am disabled and have a broken leg so I made him aware that we would try to get as much as packed as possible but made no promises. He was easy to work wit at first. I explained that I couldn't afford much so he offered to work with me on the cost. I offered to pay what I could that day but the rest on the 3rd. It was all agreed upon. He and his partner did an outstanding job loading and unloading that evening however it took much more time than anticipated. The drawbacks were that at the time of pymt he I was going to write a check. He said he doesn't take checks which he says he told me though he did not. The worst of everything was that the following day I went to pick up a couple things and found that there was ALOT more to go. Not just boxes but more furniture. I contacted him today and insisted he complete the job. He completed it but not without attitude and he dropped ever on my porch and driveway, never even brought it inside though he got paid in cash an amount of 120 as he asked for. He has threatened me several time too. So all in all I'd say that if you hire him just be sure to get your quote on paper as well as disclose everything so there isnt a problem. My stuff is all here at my new home and things are good, I've calmed down. He does a good job, really, just don't have any miscommunication.

The truth behind this issue is we originally agreed on at least most of the services paid but if she couldn't pay it all we would work on the rest. And i did tell her debit no check. So as she begins to write check i remind her of no check policy and she said this was all she could do. She paid me $80 out of her $340 bill and i had to take a check for the rest that i couldnt cash for over a week. It took longer than expected because what she told me she was going to pack was not and i had too pack stuff i wasnt supposed too. I went above and beyond what any other contractor would have done and in the end the next day she texted me if i didn't come finish packing it for her she would cancel the check she wrote to me and i would only recieved $80 out of $340. So i went, worked 3 more hours for free and i told her if she paid me $120 more that i would call it even since i probably want going to recieve the rest of payment anyways. Her son paid me. I dropped her stuff off at her house and left. Yes i put it on front porch why should i continue to help someone who did nothing but threaten me. I do this job to provide for my one year old son. I along with every other contractor cannot except payment weeks after services rendered. So please feel free to ask me about the truth behind this matter. Any other customer i have ever had has nothing but 100% positive feedback about myself and R&J Services. Thank you.
