- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since my work has taken me coast to coast, my fees are determined from a base rate with consideration given to the work entailed and whether travel outside my region is required or provided. I try to reserve 4 slots per year to give back through worthwhile organizations such as Junior Achievement and others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone conversations or face to face if appropriate to determine the scope of work, followed by a draft proposal. If accepted, a letter of agreement between both parties and deposit to secure the date. .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Beyond the obligatory college courses on public speaking, most of my training comes from practice and experiences. Reading is a major component and reserach.
