- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Beggining Voice Lessons: I begin with body preparation exercises to learn how to stretch to prepare the body for singing. Breathing exercises to build breathing stamina, and to breath from the diaphragm properly. Then, speech to singing routine to learn how to warm up the voice slowly. Then, I finally help guide them through basic vocal warm up exercises. Then I teach them how to effectively learn a new song. Beggining Piano Lessons: I begin with keyboard memorization and awareness. Finger building exercises. Then, 5 note scales, and then how to add the major chord in the left hand to the 5 note scale in the right hand. I expand from their onto the full octave scale with the most basic chord progression (I, IV, V, I), and then arpeggio's. I then begin to add more piano repertoire.
