I find it refreshing to learn from a professional dance instructor who is not restricted to formal dance. While dancing beside her,and learning with her,I have come to realize that Susan brings this knowledge base with her. She will break down new dances and enable the learner to identify and difereniate specific dance steps that are not just the "trends" of today. Susan bridges the gap for the amateur dancer between those trends and formal dance. That speaks volumes in quality and sets her apart from the rest. Her high energy presentation incorporates those professional formal dance steps into fun and excitement while bringing the group together as a well oiled team. She is a true motivator and facilator on the dance floor. You will never be bored, and she is a tough act to follow.

Working with Courtney Fickes was an absolute joy. I worked with her personally as her dancer as well as a client in her fitness classes. In both instances she was able to put my friendship with her aside in order to challenge me, give me constructive criticism, as well as listen to my ideas on how to improve th work overall. She is a person who strives for challenge and perfection wherever she can find it. As a fitness instructor, she was able to pinpoint the weaknesses of her clients but encourage their strengths. She is a wonderful person to have on any creative team.

Najia is a wonderful, wonderful teacher. She really makes learning dance a beautiful experience. She is very kind and cares if you are doing the moves properly (Which is, of course, pretty essential!). Taking dance classes with Najia changed my life. Honestly.
My husband and I starting taking Pilates lessons with Kathryn to prepare for our wedding. We loved working with her so much that we are still going to lessons after the big day. :) Her classes flow nicely from one exercise to the next and are the perfect combination of strengthening and stretching. She's also wonderful at helping you visualize movements so that you can execute them with proper form. We would recommend her to anyone!
Jules is without a doubt the best personal trainer my son (age 21) and I (age 54) ever had! It was our privilege to train with her for about 18 months. She has extensive knowledge as to nutrition, exercise physiology, kinesiology and an array of fitness modalities. Even though my son and I were at different fitness levels, she was able to draw upon her education and practical experience to fashion our workouts in a manner that both met our individual needs and allowed us to exercise together. We made more progress improving our overall fitness levels after a few months with Jules than we had in years of training with other trainers. She was always positive and enthusiastic, though not afraid to push us (sometimes hard!) when we needed it. We also always appreciated her professionalism, she was always prompt, kept excellent records of our training sessions and was very responsive whenever we had a question. My dance technique range from ballet, jazz, hip-hop, African and liturgical and lyrical dance styles. I teach both children (ages 5 and up) through adults. In addition, I attend Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet on a full dance scholarship. I also have a minor in musical theater and BA in broadcasting from Temple University.
