Introduction: My work stands out for several reasons: 1. Professional and easy-going manner as I want to ensure the most positive working relationship 2. Trained photojournalist eye - able to convey a person's unique personality and vision of themselves 3. Use of Lighting - use of natural and added lighting ensures creation of compelling imagery; lighting is key!! 4. Corporate Communications Experience - understand what's needed in fashion, corporate, and other high-end environments. Have worked in corporate communications for more than 10 years leading a variety of internal and external PR campaigns which includes capturing imagery of employees, products, and special events. With my photography and writing, I'm always striving to think about the "and" in terms of what I can bring to my art and how I can creatively and respectfully present others. My desire is to illuminate the beauty of people and life via the lens and the light. Through my own self-discovery journey, I'm learned that I come from a family of story tellers. That desire to tell stories is what I hope my imagery is all about. My focus is not just about getting "a good picture." I want to elevate the engagement between subject and viewer, lead people to dialogue with each other, and where relevant consider a viewpoint other than their own. I'm also a self-confessed travel junkie, and some of my travel photography work has been featured in American Bungalow magazine and Globe Trekker travel guide apps.
