Rob was great from the moment I contacted RK Concrete, all the way through the completion of our job laying soil and seeding our brand new lawn. Rob called me right back upon inquiry, answered the phone every time I called him, was honest and did an incredible job for us at a great price. I will be using Rob again in the future for some concrete and walkway needs that we have as I totally trust him to doing a wonderful job.

I am so glad I chose R.K. Concrete to do this job. It was a small but complicated repair job and they did beautiful work. I honestly didn't expect it to turn out as good as it did. No problem for them though. They showed up on time and the whole process was seamless. I definitely recommend them and if I ever need any more brick work done I know exactly who I will be calling!

Rob did an excellent job replacing our concrete sidewalk. Rob noticed an indentation in the previous sidewalk and recommended that I call the Pittsburgh Water & Sewage Dept to check for possible damage to the sewer line located below the sidewalk. It was good advice. The old sewer line was indeed damaged and the City replaced it before our new sidewalk was poured. Rob's price was very fair and slightly less than other contractors. I recommend R.K. Concrete for the quality & value of their work.

I hired R.K. Concrete & Contracting to install a concrete patio, steps, and a pathway to our deck steps. I was extremely happy with the results and will be calling them back for our future concrete work! Rob and his guys were really pleasant and professional and they were onsite at my house every day until the job was done. Also, Rob designed the layout to include curves in the concrete instead of everything being squared off. This was a great idea and made the results stand out even more. I also had them clear out an area of thick brush in our back yard. Again, very reasonable pricing and excellent work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a young teen working for old Italians that spoke broken English & they taught me everything about concrete.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend making sure that any professional that you would hire should be an expert in drainage, because in our area water is prone to laying underneath your concrete driveway sidewalk or patio in the wintertime causing your concrete to lift & crack.
