I have been taking lessons from Monte for 7 years now. He is very flexible and will allow you to change your practice time at the last minute. His prices for lessons at very reasonable as compared to others. He can do lessons for most any type of instrument from guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, violin, keyboards, drums etc. Monte also plays in several bands. He utilizes many of the instruments that he teaches. In fact, I have hired him for several gigs.

Jenn is the perfect instructor for young people of all ages. She not only teaches the techniques for singing without straining or hurting your voice, as well as really listens to what the students are telling her they want to explore and learn to sing! My son began with the goal of learning technique to reach high notes for a musical at school in which he has the starring role and he is now exploring opera technique and has found a new love in music besides the rock genre he was geared toward before and has learned he has a five octave range! She also encourages the students to share with one another and be participants in a group of like minded young people who want to unite their talents should they choose to do so. My son has grown in his abilities as well as given him the confidence to reach beyond his goals all in a fun and very professional manner. She is also flexible and attentive to helping the students and parents develop a schedule that fits in with the busy lifestyles of both. Jenn is a wonderful instructor in addition to being an accomplished artist who is very knowledgeable about her craft while being attentive to the level of talent and goals of the students. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to learn proper technique and skill while doing so in a fun and caring manner.

Tim is a one man band, who completely blew the crowd away! We loved having him at our Grand Opening. His professionalism was great, and reaching him was no problem at all. When I came into the office the next day, everyone I spoke with said he was great! I would absolutely hire him again as well as recommend him to another person/company.

Rick was the DJ at my art deco-ish, bloody wonderful wedding this past April. We booked a marvelous room (Bob Hope) in the Omni William Penn. My, then, fiance was concerned about finding the perfect DJ (I should say he is an Aussie Irish mix, we live in Ireland, have very eclectic music tastes and planned this from abroad!) for our wedding what with our different backgrounds, nationalities and wedding theme. Rick is a gentleman. He met some of the wedding party for drinks, music was discussed, a cd of obscure Australian Punk Rock exchanged... Rick created the perfect musical night. A full night of Big Band music, Bruce Springsteen, The Weavers, Punk, Traditional Irish, even reggae. He judged the crowd, the various countries represented, ages etc. At one point he managed to get the Irish delegation up on the dance floor doing a very fair imitation of river dance. My husband and I highly recommend him for any event. Thank you Rick! :)

Simply put, the Move Makers are the best wedding band I have ever experienced. Period. If you are getting married in the Pittsburgh area, there is no better alternative for value or quality than the Move Makers. My wife and I had the Move Makers play our 3/6/2016 wedding at the Pittsburgh Opera House. We saw a number of other Pittsburgh bands before we made a final decision, and NONE ever came close to the Move Makers (sorry Bachelor Boys). From our first interactions with the band's manager, Sienna, to the final encore song they agreed to play that night, the band wowed us and far exceeded every expectation we had for them. Let me start with Sienna, the band's manager. Sienna is an absolute pleasure to work with. Months before our wedding, Sienna tirelessly responded to our questions, helped facilitate a smooth contract signing, worked with us for ALL of our special requests, and made sure that on our big day set up, performance, and tear down were a breeze. You will love working with her! The band is a group of unbelievably talented and incredibly versatile musicians. The Move Makers provided a classical guitarist for our ceremony processional/recessional, a smooth swinging jazz quartet for our dinner, and an UNBELIEVABLE 10 PIECE BAND THAT KEPT OUR GUESTS DANCING THE WHOLE NIGHT. The band learned several special songs for us to truly make the night memorable. The band's horn section is INCREDIBLE. The male and female vocalists had range to cover everything from Motown to Top 40. The band put together a perfect set that built over the course of the night, allowing some of our older guests to enjoy a few slow songs before building to an incredible climax hours later. Several of our guests said that this was the best band they had ever heard...wedding or otherwise. I very rarely post such reviews online, but Sienna and the Move Makers have earned this praise. Do yourself a favor and look no further than this band for your next special occasion!

I have hired her to play many times, at events and festivals in MD, and have toured and traveled with her as well. She shows up on time, loves to play music and gives 100% to every gig. She plays with her full band, Ishtar, or sometimes as a smaller ensemble of 3 or 4. She has also stepped in with other musicians and led or followed in collaborative musical groups in her genre, Middle Eastern Music. She is also an excellent workshop teacher. I am hiring her back this year.

I have been in the music business for over 30 years providing quality musical entertainment at outdoor festivals, taverns, private party's or anywhere live entertainment is needed.

      About

We are a classic rock & roll band from the Chicora/Butler area. We have played at many festivals, benefits, community events, parties and bars. Our band is a tight 4-piece ensemble -- drums, bass guitar and lead guitar with a lead singer. Both the drummer and the bassist sing in a couple of the songs. Highway 4 is really getting wonderful opportunities and playing the best music in so many different places. We're bringing back rock & roll, one gig at a time.

We offer a full-band sound with just two people. We take up less space than a full band and have a more exciting show than just an acoustic duo. We are somewhere in the middle I suppose!
