Voice lessons at Rossi Music Studio have far surpassed my expectations and I've had other voice instructors over the years. My vision for what I can become has expanded drastically. I really am surprised to see the difference in my sound already after only a few months. I never thought I could get this much better, so fast! Ha!
It has been 30 years since I've taken voice lessons. Multiple Sclerosis has taken its toll on my body and voice. I started working with Daniel Teadt in January 2011. My range has already increased and so has my confidence. He has customized my lessons so that I can sit while I sing. I had developed some bad vocal habits, which he immediately identified. He doesn't care that I'm 51 and probably will not sing professionally ~~ he is helping me to find my voice again.
Excellent piano teacher for our four kids!
I have been taking guitar lessons at N'Stuff Music for 10 years. All three of my guitar teachers have been excellent and have guided my progress in the genres of rock and classical guitar. I also took voice lessons here for about a year. The learning experience and support of the knowledgeable store staff have been outstanding. If I had to start over again, this is where I would be.
My 14yo daughter has benefited from Kara's instruction in just few lessons. The vocal instruction goes beyond just the obvious mechanics of producing a good sound: Kara builds rapport well and is able to recognize, name, and help remedy bad habits or fears the student might have. Her explanations aren't lengthy, but she uses visualizations that are apt, and that stick and are applicable to other vocal pieces. My daughter loves working with Kara Cornell, and us as parents do occasionally - but not always - sit in on a lesson and enjoy the music.
Awesome voice teacher. My kids (14 & 12) love her.
Aaron has a great resume, I figured he'd be a great musician & would be great with high-level musicians. Our son has had zero formal private lessons and Aaron was GREAT with a beginner too. Looking forward to more lessons!
Two of my daughters have taken lessons at New Song Studio..One of my daughters has taken acting lessons and the other takes Voice and Piano. I cannot say enough good things about New Song Studio. Jean is a very patient and encouraging instructor. My daughters have learned a lot from her and gained confidence in the process. Highly recommend!
Between the high expectations Mrs. Noullet had and the patience she showed in training me, the results were phenominal. Gail had this 'magic formula' by combining her knowledge of singing and constant encouragement (which I really needed!). Before taking voice lessons, I would have never been able to get up in front of a group of people (terrifying) and sing. I could tell that she loves teaching and that made me want to be even better for her. I made chamber chior and also had a singing part as one of the orphans in Plum Senior High's "Annie". I would recommend Mrs. Noullet to any parent wanting to give their child voice lessons. Best teacher in the area.
I give Ian 5 stars simply for the adaptability in his teaching style. He definitely knows his stuff about singing, and the more that he works with a student (like myself), he is able to find the root of some of the quirks that one may have and iron out the kinks. If you some kind of a performance, he is more than willing to help in any way he can, and if you don't have much but still want to learn to improve, he can help you learn that. From music theory, diction, technique, whatever you want, he will answer it, or go looking for the answer himself. Great confidence booster. 5/5 flat out.
I honestly couldn't be happier. The individual instruction is so amazing. There are group sessions once a month that are beneficial for performers. My son is so motivated now! The teacher lets me sit in on the lessons and I'm so impressed!
Matt is very good at adapting the lesson to the learner. He is professional, personable and knowledgable. Recommended!

I teach multi-layers of guitar techniques, ideally suited for singers and songwriters. I teach rhythm, finger picking, and soloing. I use a variety of styles such as folk rock, blues, country, Latin, bossa, jazz, funk, etc. to add variety to my songwriting, and I'd love to share this with the right student(s).
Let's Play Music is a piano and music theory course for young children (starting ages 4-6) that emphasizes total musicianship through piano playing, singing, classical music, note reading and ear training, and it's accomplished through play!
I teach my students the material they want to learn. I explain the music theory behind the music. I then encourage the students to put their skills to the test by recording what they learn. Completed CD is available upon following lesson.
We at Bentley & Romito Music believe that music should be fun and educational. Students learn how to read music and are taught music theory. They can also learn their favorite songs as well as how to "jam." Students are taught how to improvise and are encouraged to be creative. Each student also has a chance to play at a number of recitals over the course of the year.
