Amanda initially answered questions regarding the financial and tax considerations for the start of a new business over the phone on several occasions. Later I had 2 meetings in her home to complete my quite complicated taxes. She worked with me to get every possible deduction, advising me what information I would need. She was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She was also understanding the night I was running late due to a minor crisis at home. In addition to doing an excellent job on my current taxes, she gave me several pieces of information that could save me additional money both with my new business and on future taxes. I can't think of anything that she could possibly have done to improve, because I firmly believe her performance was perfect. And her prices were more than reasonable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. As a licensed CPA, I am required to take a minimum of 80 hours of continuing education every two years. However, I usually go above and beyond that requirement.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Not all accountants are created equal. Do your homework. Check out their credentials. Are they a CPA or EA? Did they attend college? This is someone who you will likely share your bank accounts, credit card numbers, SSN, etc with, so make sure they are trustworthy.
