What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't think my pricing is complicated. I try to work in your budget to make it affordable to you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! It's a must in this profession! I take online seminars that include disciplines such as posing, lighting, photoshop and lightroom!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad was always taking pictures of us when we were kids and I was always so interested in what he was doing. He got me my own camera when I was 12 and I loved doing it myself. I still have the cameras he used back then.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm very proud of all of my boudoir work. I love working with a woman who is nervous at first and watch her bloom as the session progresses. I just did one recently where my client was very nervous, which you can see in the first images, but by the end, she was owning the session. She then told me how good she felt and I couldn't wait to get her images to her!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer whose style matches yours. Always check their portfolios. Higher priced photographers aren't always better.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There's more to photography than just taking the picture. There's post work that can be time consuming. So when you're given a session price, that price includes my time taking the photos as well as the post processing to make your photos look the best that they can.
