Introduction: Liz Garvey is a wistful dandizette with a passion for period styles and historical research. She's known for her elegant, organic illustrations and gracefully evocative design work.
Liz has always loved drawing letterforms, plants and exquisite objects. Her knack for period research leads her to hand letter and design a series of recipe posters for The University of the Arts 2014 William H. Ely exhibition.
Soon after, her nature-inspired repeating patterns were exhibited at The Society of Illustrators in New York, The Rosenfield Wolf Gallery in Philadelphia and the Moria Fitszimmons-Arrons Art Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut.
Since then, Liz has been lettering chalk boards in Philadelphia, designing packaging for local jam makers and working with non profit organizations on children's etiquette infographics.
