Introduction: OCD is an Artist owned company specializing in Murals, Faux Finishes and High End Interior painting. Even though we're a national company, I'm locally based in Richmond and love to get out of the office! Given that I do most of the local work myself our rates our surprisingly reasonable compared to other high end contractors. Our talent, accessibility and outstanding care to every project has us quickly growing into one of the industry leaders on the national scene. Built by people with passion, and for clients who expect something more. OCD is more interested in building relationships rather than being concerned about a few bucks. Each of our national brands are hiring us repeatedly and often because of our outstanding work and reasonable rates. We always deliver an awesome project! Most important to us, is that our company was built on the belief that artists should take home the grand portion of proceeds from the projects that they work hard on, instead of the other national companies who usually employ and grossly underpay the many talented folks in our industry. Benny was great to work with. We had been wanting to change our half bathroom paint from ugly brown to a cooler grey for several months now. Benny contacted us right away and was available the very next day! The cost was also very reasonable:) He picked the paint up for us, showed up on time and completed the entire bathroom in about 3-4 hours ! It looks so much better and we are very happy!!! Looking forward to working with OCD again for other work.

We as a whole studio cannot say enough positive things about OCD. Not only are they easy to work with, they were flexible with our schedule (GC delays!), design concept (we needed help with the graphics and artwork), but were grateful to work with people who were able to bring our concepts to life with their professional expertise. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not take the normal 50% deposit. OCD takes so much pride in our work and excellence in our work, that we always leave the vast majority of the balance to be paid upon completion and client satisfaction after a walkthrough and approval is given. We also guarantee our work lasts:)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
OCD was born in NYC. And we were raised by 2 parents. Our celebrity clientele and the NYDC (the most prestigious Interior Designer venue in the world) We were the sole vendor incurred with remodeling all 300+ showrooms in the venue; doing all the high end painting, faux finishes, murals, art installations, art hanging, carpentry, and remodels.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since our birth in 2008. We grew into an artist owned full design company; recently expanding across major markets around the country. Our talent, accessibility and outstanding care to every project has us quickly growing into one of the industry leaders on the national scene
