We had a fantastic experience with Niko. Our dog was a little shy on the first meeting, but loved him every other time he came over. Niko trained us well to train our dog, which is the best way, as you need to keep reinforcing the training. I highly recommend him for anyone willing to put a little work into training their dog.
I adopted a dog from a local shelter. Although I grew up in a family that always had dogs, this was my first time with a dog of my own. I contacted Deb at Doggies in the Ruff and she came out to my home. She went over a few things that I needed to know about and set up us on a training program. Since I work every day, Deb comes to walk Omar. It's so great to come home to a young dog who is not so rambuctious. It's also great that he is getting exercise and is not just becoming a couch potatoe!
Steve is a very knowledgeable dog trainer. His method of dog training is so easy to learn and has proven excellent results raising my puppy. Highly recommend him for any dog behavior problems!
We have two French Bulldogs (brothers)...one started to "resource guard" and was becoming very aggressive towards the other, we had actually thought he might have to go live with a family member which we did not want to do. I contacted Canines with Class and we scheduled our sessions asap! Lisa was very helpful, she was able to teach my family techniques on how to control his behavior but also to understand the behavior, which is important, plus she was able to help us with other basic obedience training. They responded well to Lisa, they were very excited to see her each visit!! We are so glad we made that call....we no longer have to consider seperating them. We can't not thank Lisa enough for helping us!!
My two dogs attended Adult Manners I class with Marion O'Neil. Marion did give us many tips on how to help our dogs follow direction. They have both made strides in their behavior. We are pleased that we attended Molasses Creek Dog Training.
Today was the first time I met Steve in my home. I feel very confident that he has the ability to help teach me to be the best dog owner I can be! I demonstrated my dog running off the porch and down the walkway with me while he was on a leash. I also shared a video of my dog biting at me while trying to get him inside. I'm looking forward to our training classes and am anxious to get started.
We had one session today and my dog responded very well. Trainer is professional, caring, and addressed all of our questions. We signed up for 5 additional lessons.
Heather is very competent. My very large dog was an obnoxious jumper and had to be locked up every time anyone came into the house. She almost knocked some of my friends to the floor with her jumping!! Now I am able to control her and she no longer jumps up on people. Finally I have a dog with good manners! Heather stressed how important it was for me to be motivated to participate in the training of my dog, so I did my homework faithfully in between sessions, and was incredibly consistent, which really paid off. Heather is an excellent trainer and if you're really ready to work along with her you'll have a well mannered and happy dog.
I had an amazing experience with Buck’s Dog Training! Both of my dogs came back after 2 weeks and were so very obedient and well mannered. I highly recommend her services to anyone and everyone.
DeNovo was an incredible and completely worthwhile experience. Not only did my dog, Petty, benefit from the Basic obedience board and training, but I did as well. The training session after Petty’s stay allowed me to take some ownership of his newfound skills and the confidence to flourish them in the future. I appreciate the time and effort DeNovo spent with Petty and myself. Definitely worth every penny!
Pilar has done a fantastic job training our pup on a leash! I have counted on her to take care of my baby daily for the past 8 years. She did great working with her, as huskies are an intelligent yet stubborn and mischievous breed.
Matt trained me and my 6 month old German Shepard. He is a wonderful trainer. Very patient and knowledgable. He explained and demonstrated each step during our 8 sessions with him, very focused. He made me and my dog a great successful team. I am comfortable to take Lacey anywhere. Would recommend Matt for any dog training. You can not get a better trainer that Matt.
If you are like me, I want to know if Bridget Gallagher is good without a lot of words. In short, my wife and I highly recommend Bridget for any issues you may be having. Even if you are not having issues, it was well worth the time to be taught how to handle your dog and to know what works with them. We had Sully doing more after 4 hours than 6 weeks of obedience classes.` Now for those who would like more info. Here is the longer story: We adopted Sully from a breeder in Maryland. We met Sully and his brothers and sisters at the breeder and fell in love. Sully was a very calm 5 ½ month old puppy that played well with his family and enjoyed our touch. His personality fit in perfectly. Sully came home with us and was an angel in the car. We introduced him to others and took him out to stores with no issues except he was shy. After a couple of weeks, he started barking and growing at anyone who came into the house and out in public. Our son, who is attending college, came home for a week and Sully would bark and growl at him every time he saw him. He never really warmed up to our son. This behavior seemed to be getting worse (nipping started) and we wanted to find someone who could help us. We were told he would be okay after going to obedience training which we were doing. The class taught us to give him treats. That never really did work. He would do the commands but it never helped with the barking and growling. I felt he had either a fear of people, lacked confidence or we were not doing something right. I owed several dogs and never had a problem. I reached out to a lot of trainers and dog behaviorists who said that they could help but I had seen mixed reviews with all of them. Some were using a prong collar and tough love. I just did not get a good feeling. I called my vet for a reference (who never got back to me) and others to no avail. I did some other searches and finally found Bridget. We saw her testimonials on line, talked with her on the phone and found other reviews not associated with her web site. My wife and I finally made a decision and had Bridget come to our house. When she arrived, Sully growled and barked at her when she met him outside. The next 4 hours were simple AMAZING. She explained to us what we had to do and how to do it. It was just SO simple. Bridget has a wealth of knowledge and experience with dogs and how and why they behave as they do. She is so committed to helping and educating you so you are able to work with your dogâs behavior problem. She even went with us to 2 pet stores to see strangers so she could show us how to stop the barking and growing and how to introduce him to strangers. By the end of the 4 hours, we had Sully: ⢠Being introduced to strangers with VERY little barking and almost no growling ⢠Staying in place with NO words â just hand motions and body language ⢠Sat at the door and staying there without rushing outside â waited to be told to go out ⢠No jumping or counter surfing Understanding how the dog thought was fantastic and so very cool. Just amazing what she taught us and what she could have us do that worked right away. The next day my wife and I took him separately on walks that met strangers and our training worked. He barked a little but we stepped in to stop the barking before the growling started. He calmed down and was able to greet the stranger with no issues.
Ryker LOVES Mark. I've seen such a huge improvement pertaining to many of Ryker's behavioral issues since we started working with Mark and am looking forward to seeing many more. I'd previously done a bit of training with Ryker, but never got these types of results. Extremely happy with his service and would recommend 100%!!!!
Athena is a wonderful caring trainer who has a passion for rescuing dogs and helping them find their forever homes. She has worked with all range of dog types, breeds including aggressive dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a caring dog training professional!
I would highly recommend Martha's training to anyone! She has helped owners train almost every breed/mix one could imagine. Her methods are positive, and most of them are "fun" as well. My Dobermans are trained in AKC obedience venues........when I run into a "roadblock" like getting my dobe to take a metal scent article..."Ugh Mom, it feels funny in my mouth!" Martha comes up with unique ideas...like tieing a bit of fabric around the dowel...Yes, it works! Martha has helped me train obedience, rally, tracking and some fun "search" work that Dillon loves!!!!
I have a 3 year old miniature schnauzer named Gia. My reason for having her join the pack was to get her more comfortable around other dogs. I spent a lot of time working with Gia and she is a good well trained dog except in this area. I couldn't get her over her fear of other dogs. She would bark and carry on whenever she saw another dog. She has been walking with the pack for a few months now and when Melissa picks her up she runs to the car and jumps in, she can't wait to see the other dogs. I would recommend Unmistakable Dog to anyone. Melissa does a wonderfully professional job. Linda M.
I can't say enough good things about Nicole and Buck's Dog Training! Nicole was very responsive to my initial request, she met with my dog and family prior to the first day of boot camp training to make sure that everyone was comfortable. She picked up my untrained dog and delivered a well trained, well behaved dog who listens to commands the first time and is well behaved walking off lead. The most amazing thing is that she responds to voice commands without the need for me to raise my voice or change the tone of my voice. Having a dog is a great joy, but having a well behaved dog is priceless! Thank you Nicole and team!
Tim is very responsive, and professional. Thank you for your time.
Chris is an awesome trainer!! He really knows a lot about handling dogs...highly recommend
I come to your home and do the training there; dogs learn better in their own environment. I use voice tones and body language to teach you to communicate with your dog in a way he already knows. Dogs don't have the ability to change the way they think, but people can change and learn how your dog thinks, and that leads to better understanding of each other!
