FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep things simple and I do have a great invoicing system. My contract is clear and concise. It protects both my business as well as the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am attending catersource, the largest trade show and convention for catering professionals in the US. I also attend local bridal shows to keep up with trends in the industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I visited a venue over 19 years ago for my own event and found 2 family members sobbing because the rest of their team leftvthem stranded and without a set up or decotatinbg team on them the day of a large wedding for 375 people. With nothing to do for the remainder of the day, I assisted with all aspects of the event including venue set-up, bartending, decor, and catering staff. I didn't even know the bride and groom but I knew that guests should NEVER know or have an inkling of hiccups at the event. Guests thought I was the planner but I wasn't. I loved the feeling! My heart was created to be a servant and I service my clients with a pure heart.
