Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am currently working toward certification as a Board Certified Music Therapist, which is the use of music for non-musical outcomes. This training and my experiences working with diverse students with special needs and physical limitations does bring a unique angle to my instruction. I take each student's needs and create an approach toward their instruction that will benefit them musically as well as non-musically. Even though I am working toward this area of specialization, I also have a strong background in performance both with piano and voice. I have been fortunate to study at leading conservatories of music and have experience as a professional performer as well a music educator at all levels of instruction.

Bill has taught voice and piano at the Fairmont State University Academy for the Arts Music Preparatory Department for the past 5 years. While teaching with us, he has done a fantastic job. Bill impressed me by really tailoring each lesson to the students needs. This is something that we pride ourselves on in the Academy. All of Bill's students love him and have learned so much, as well as shown great improvement throughout their time of study with him. Bill is always willing to help when needed. He jumps in and accompanies for master classes, theatre classes, recitals, etc. He always gives his best, shows up on time, and gives the highest quality work. Bill is a superb music educator as well as vocal coach and piano instructor. I would highly recommend Bill Hostutler for this position.

I have been taking voice instruction with Mr Hostutler since 2007 and in this time I have found him to be very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I am a mature student who had a lot of apprehension when beginning lessons. He was very patient and understanding of my insecurities while guiding me in developing a pleasing and controlled voice. He is very encouraging and has a natural talent for clearly communicating his instructions in a very supportive and positive manner. His experience and personality puts me at ease and has allowed me to vastly improve my singing voice--so much so that I am now comfortable with public performances and receive many compliments. I hold him in such high regard that I began taking my pastor's young daughter (early teens) to him for lessons as well. He was equally proficient with this young singer as he was with me. He also instructed another younger gentleman (friend's son) through his high school years and assited him with acceptance into a college vocal program after graduation. I would highly recommend Mr Hostutler for any level of vocal instruction. He is highly educated, competent and extremely pleasant in his interactions so I have every confidence your experience with him will be as positive as mine!
