Sherry is the best vocal teacher I have had! She allows her students to be themselves and encourages them to work on the style of music that they are most interested in. She does not impress a specific style or genre of music onto her students. So, if you like jazz, R&B, pop, etc. she does it all and can teach it all. She does not mind trying something new or teaching in styles other than her own. Having been in the music industry for many years she has an exceptional ear for music. She can assist you in finding your voice. She teaches techniques during sessions to those who are just starting out, like myself, or who have been singing for many years. A session with Sherry will consist of warm ups, breathing techniques, vowel usage, articulation, emoting and stage presence. Her teaching style and techniques for her students are specifically to avoid vocal damage. Most of all Sherry creates a learning atmosphere where you will learn a lot about yourself and as a vocalist. She takes her craft and instruction seriously, but the sessions are so much fun and she always ends her sessions with a smile.

Sherry's style of teaching gets to the heart and soul of her vocal students. She encourages students to tune into their own unique voices instead of mimicking other vocal styles. Because of her vast experience in many areas of music, she's extremely knowledgeable and has a bag full of tools and techniques to lay a solid foundation in vocal arts training for every student.

I take upward Master classes and belong to several professional organizations.

It came natural for me since the age of 9 years I've never wanted to do anything else besides sing/perform and teach.
