PennMed Student MCAT Tutoring

Introduction: Who We Are We are three PennMed students offering MCAT tutoring services in the Philadelphia area. We collectively hold undergraduate majors in physics, chemistry, cell and molecular biology, and biochemistry, and all of us scored 36 or higher on the MCAT. Our Philosophy Like every standardized test, scoring well on the MCAT requires both knowledge of the test material and knowledge of the test itself. With our recent experience taking the MCAT exam and our extensive undergraduate and medical school science backgrounds, we offer not only knowledge in the MCAT subject material but also a keen understanding of how to approach MCAT style questions. Though each of us has a broad science background, we also have our areas of expertise, and we will match each student with the best possible tutor, should they wish to focus on a particular subject. While we offer supplementary materials, we do not use a set curriculum but instead design a program of study best suited to the strengths and requirements of each individual student. Whether you want a long-term tutor to prepare you from day one of your studies or a last-minute review of a specific subject area, we will help you achieve your highest possible score. We also offer tutoring for specific subjects (physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics) as well as other standardized tests -- SAT, ACT, and GRE. Our Pricing Tutoring services are offered at $50 an hour. We are happy to answer questions via email between lessons at no additional fee. We will meet anywhere in the West Philly, University City, Center City, or South Philly neighborhoods and can travel to further destinations for an additional fee of $50 an hour.
